@AlexMurphy yes, thank you! I've changed the core emulator to something something genesis and now it isbfully working. So happy 😊

@zden Have you tried lowering the audio sample rate in the RetroArch GUI? Do this then restart ES.

Second: Turn your TV to gaming mode. Connect the HDMI from the Pi directly to your TV and bypass any soundbar etc. Often this latency is caused by post-processing from a TV, AV receiver, soundbar, or other device that the HDMI signal is passing through.

Ok, updating the script worked. It installed the latest RetroArch GIT. I then #commented out the cheevos_enable = "false" line and it boots up just like it should. So yes, I believe this issue was resolved. Thanks for all your help guys.
